Cold Vegan Overnight Oatmeal

When you pick your friends be sure one of them

He or She will be so eager to share their knowledge and recipes
of whole food plant based goodness

And they will feed you
and feed you
and feed you

You will glow with health and wellness after you spend a weekend with them
Not Lying

So these images are my own masterpieces
that I have made since arriving home
from the most incredible, nourishing
(emotionally, spiritually, physically, nutritionally)
weekend with my lovely girlfriends

As you know I have been cooking my
overnight oatmeal
in my 2.5 qt crock pot

I have some ideas for you:

But this recipe approach is different
You make it cold!
And you eat it cold!

Editor's Note:
"And no messy crock pot to scrub."

The first few nights I made my
"Cold Vegan Overnight Oatmeal"
in the mug above
but then I decided to treat myself with this

Don't you just love the frosty chilled morning afterglow
of this jar?
You know it is going to be delicious
and good for you
Right?

God help anyone who touches it.
Ha!

The recipe is so simple

Dry oatmeal
Almond milk
Frozen mixed berries
Pure Canadian Maple Syrup
Almond slivers, raisins, Chia Seeds etc. (optional)

Before bed grab your ingredients and a container
Place 1/2 cup dry oats into bottom
Cover with almond milk (keep pouring until it soaks in and covers it)
Top with 1/2 cup or more of still frozen berry mix
cover and place in fridge

Go to bed

Wake up
Drizzle your
"Cold Vegan Overnight Oatmeal"
with pure Canadian Maple Syrup

Top with a few spoonfuls of various toppings of your choice
Chia seeds etc.

Enjoy!
